Online Real Estate training in South Africa through ®Der Walt Academy is specifically designed for the
Real Estate Property Practitioner Candidate.
2024 REAL ESTATE PROPERTY PRACTITIONERS QUALIFICATIONS:
Effective July 1, 2024, Mentorship for the QCTO-based NQF Level 4 will be provided, replacing the Logbook requirement.
The new regulations apply as follows:
1. ALL candidates who received their 1st FFC after 1 July 2024, the following applies:
Candidate Property Practitioners or new entrants should enrol to complete the new Occupational Certificate: Real Estate Agent SAQA QUAL ID 118715 – The new Occupational Qualification.
2. ALL candidates who received their 1st FFC prior to 1 July 2024, the following applies:
Complete your Logbook, get it signed off by your Principal asap.
Hold Logbook in safe keeping for future reference from PPRA.
Submit a Compliance Letter to the PPRA as soon as possible.
THIS LETTER will exempt you from completing the mandatory 3rd Module of the ‘new’ NQF4, Occupation certificate: Workplace Evidence.
Submission of physical Logbooks to the PPRA will not be accepted after 1 July 2024.

From 1 July 2024: QCTO based NQF Level 4
The Logbook as we know it, is no longer applicable from 1 July 2024.
This will be replaced by the New QCTO – Occupational Qualification and certificate from 1 July 2024, consisting of 3 Modules.
Modules 1 and 2: (Knowledge and Practical) will be completed before you can apply for the Fidelity Fund Certificate, whereafter you will apply for a Fidelity Fund Certificate and join an Agency where the Work Experience Module 3 (Work Experience) will be completed within 6 months.

REAL ESTATE INDUCTION COURSE
The compulsory Induction Course is structured to take Intern Agents through all aspects and fundamentals of the SA Real Estate industry, compiled in 8 Modules, after which you receive a certificate of compliance to place in the Logbook.

LOGBOOK
The completion of a LOGBOOK is still mandatory for Candidates who received their 1st FFC BEFORE 1 July 2024.
